Administrator rights are required for the installation / configuration of printer drivers

Server 2019 or Win 10: Microsoft Patch KB5005030
Server 2016 or Win 10 LTSB: Microsoft Patch KB5005043

Due to the above-mentioned patches released on Aug 10, 2021, administrative rights are required when using "Point and Print" to install printer drivers.

Appropriate security agencies advise against uninstalling the patches.

Microsoft recommends to deactivate if absolutely necessary only temporarily to install the drivers.
